Tanners Point is a very sheltered beach in the Tauranga Harbour.
Tanners Point is within a stones throw of a major channel lending to the Katikati Entrance and out in to the Bay Of Plenty. The jetty at Tanners Point is very popular on Friday and Saturday night with line fishing. But it is a tidal beach, you will see more silt then sand with thin patches of sea grass scatted around the bay.
