The Hauraki Gulf, a cluster of islands near Auckland, is a walker’s paradise

Here’s a taste of what you can expect:

Waiheke Island is the largest island in the Hauraki Gulf, its a haven for foodies and cyclists, with wineries, art galleries, and charming villages to explore and dozens of awesome walks.

Discover the historic Mansion House on Kawau Island and wander through beautiful native forests.

Getting there is easy:

Ferry: Regular ferries depart from Auckland’s downtown waterfront to Waiheke Island and the other islands, taking you to your chosen island.

Or you might be lucky enough to own your own boat or have friends with one, it’s a great way to explore the Hauraki Gulf.
