Point 1: Wenderholm Regional Park
The park is well set out. You will have no problem finding a car park on the inlet side of the park. All you have to do now is walk through the picnic area and on to the ocean side of the park. You now have the choice of walking 500m down to the mouth of the Puhoi river or a steady climb to the top of Wenderholm hill for a great view of Waiwera or out to the Whangaparaoa Bay.
