From the end of Hislop Street, turn right onto Jollie Street and then left up Tottara Street.
At the end of Tottara, go left, off-road into Riddells Reserve.
The track continues a straight path a little while longer. Afterwards, it begins to zigzag through the reserve. About halfway through these zigzags, there will be a detour track that heads left. At the end of this detour, there is a bench. This is a nice area to rest. Return along the same track to rejoin the main track.
The track continues amongst the large trees a little while longer before emerging onto an open field. Follow the track, cross Private Rd and enter PekaPeka Gully on the other side, where the walk continues through the trees. Continue straight until you reach Peel St (or take the second detour to reach Barker St).
Many other walking tracks can be found along the start of the walk. These are along Tottara Street. This walk can also be done in conjunction with the walks in Talbot Forest.
Along this walk, there is a pine plantation which serves to protect the native revegetation of the Reserve and the retention dam.
