Maitre Island is so cute with crystal clear water

We started this walk by arriving by boat and tiring the dinghy up at the wharf next to the tourist office.

You need to follow the road with the big stunning white sand beach kept on your left-hand side. Then take the first road to your right. This is just before the one and only little shop which you can just see up ahead.

It’s only about 10mins before you’ll see a sign on your left indicating the walk.

The weather was excellent for us today. Not too hot. There were only a couple of other people on the track, so not too busy.

The walk an uphill climb to get to the summit. It’s got quite a lot of loose stones and rocks so watch your step. We also did the little walk out the point to see the other view, this is before you reach the summit. Or do it on your return.
